G. Hubert McGarity,  Lead Pastor
Pastor McGarity came to Alcoa Maryville as Lead Pastor in June of 2005.  He served his denomination as an Evangelist and Senior Pastor in Alabama and Tennessee.  He has also served in many state leadership roles and helped train over five hundred ministers and their spouses through his involvement in the Ministerial Internship Program, a denominational mentoring process.

To Pastor McGarity, his family is very important, and he seeks to carry that same value over into an emphasis on the church ministering and focusing on the family.  Pastor has two children, Kristen and Beth Ann, who are both married and serving in the ministry.
